As a technical exercise, Subject to Change offers a previously unseen system of storytelling. By combining film, animation, interactivity and constantly updated streamed content, the work hints at new directions for Cinema in the wake of new technologies.
The Subject to Change experience aims to offer its audiences the chance to experience various opinions on pertinent,
contemporary social issues and understand reasons for differing views.
The Subject to Change project is a short interactive film that discusses the way in which we as individuals perceive the world. Demonstrated both through the visual content and story, and through the users’ / viewers’ own interaction with the piece, blending cinematic reality with a tactile interactivity to create an Immersive Meta Consciousness Experience.
Thanks to an amazing bunch of crew and actors, a stunning set was constructed for the smoothest shoot overcoming the sudden near disaster we did face. The picture and audio has come out better than we could of hoped for and we’ve already found the best take!
After we finished the filming over the last weekend, the project’s production is starting to speed up dramatically! Just a quick note about the shoot is that all of our actors were incredible! So a special thanks to Steve, Donna, Harry and Milla you were all awesome and an extra special thankyou for Donna for stepping in at the last minute since one of our actors pulled out!. We will be giving you guys a massive update about our shoot and developments shortly!
